Story Telling

Imaginations are running wild around here. The kids are constantly coming up with stories....from when they were babies or from when they were adults. Cracking me up everyday. Here's a quick rundown from one of Eli's most current stories:

"Uncle Ryan and me and Katelynn are going moose hunting. And when we are there we will see mooses, daddy elks, coyotes and sheep. The are on the other side of the big hill so we can't see them but we will know. Then they will scare us. Then after they run back down the hill we can have lunch. Katelynn will have peanut jelly and I will have cheesy toast and Uncle Ryan will get pizza and then we will have a pizza party at our house outside in the grass....."

The story lasted for about 5 minutes in the car on Saturday. Its great when they both get in on it. Katelynn was messing with his flow a bit though as she was telling her own story about "Aunt Melissa getting licked by an elephant on the hand at the zoo when she took Katelynn there with no one else. And Katelynn was all growed up so she didn't need any Mommies or Daddies. And the elephant ate little peanuts not big ones and then they ate leaves because they still had grumbly tummies".

I need to keep a tape recorder on hand...they always have a great story to tell!!
