Since Katelynn got to have a special day with Gamma, Eli got to have a special day with us. He was a little sad that Katelynn was leaving....he missed her very much. But he managed to get over that in a pretty big hurry.
After she left he played computer games for a bit and then it was time to get his day started. He had decided he wanted to....go to the movie store, have dinner at Applebees, get new slippers and a few cars plus we picked up a surprise for Katelynn, have 'candy cookies' for a treat, go home for a bath, and then watch his movie. So that is exactly what we did and in that order. His movie pick was Alvin and the Chipmunks. What a great pick....he was belly laughing the entire time. Josh and I were laughing at him laughing!! He stayed up a little late and then slept in a little late, wow that was nice.
I have to say only having 1 kid was a little weird. It was so easy:) It was nice to spend 1 on 1 time with him and we're looking forward to being able to do that with Katelynn as well.
