Katelynn headed out for her first ever solo night out!! She stayed the night with Gamma on Saturday night and was very, very excited. The excitement was just bubbling over on Friday, she could hardly contain herself. So we got her all packed up and she was ready to go that afternoon. She picked out clothes, books, movies, blanket and a bedtime guy. Then she added her toothbrush and vitamins. Roxie had to wait until Saturday to be packed. She then decided they would need to have some M&M's so we packed a couple lil bags and of course we had to write their names on the bags so she'd know whose was whose:)
Gamma came to get her at 3 and they headed to the store to pick up doughnuts for breakfast on Sunday. They went to dinner at Perkins (Katelynn's choice). After dinner they played Dora games, had a bubble bath, watched a movie and ate popcorn. And by about 7:45 Katelynn was just beat. So off to dreamland she went....well after 3 trips to the potty in less than 15 minutes:) I was happy to hear the bedtime games don't just happen here!!
The kids decided that next it will be Eli's turn to stay over, then it'll be my turn and finally Josh will get a turn. Gamma told Josh that he'll need to bring a sleeping bag!
