Party Blues

The kids are very excited about their upcoming birthday. We talk about it a million times a day and in top planning mode....the latest discovery is that no girls are allowed at Eli's and no boys are allowed at Katelynn's.

Me: What about me E, can I come to your party?

E: No no Mom you're a girl, it's only for the guys!!

Me: Peanut can Daddy come to your party?

K: Not a chance. Its for girls!!

Once E realizes "the guys" (from Bryce and Abbie's wedding) aren't going to come I think he's going to be pretty upset. He is convinced they are all coming:)
