The kiddies were up bright (actually it was still dark) and early. 6am comes early when you've stayed up until 1am!! Of course they were over the moon excited that Santa had come and left them presents and notes. We let them get their microphone up and going before sending them in to wake up Uncle Kyle with "Merry Christmas" very loudly! He loved it and so did they!!
After gifts we had a "special" breakfast...Eli picked "a bagel not toasted, just plain" and Katelynn picked "doughnuts" of course. Us adults feasted on a breakfast pizza and lots of coffee. My Mom, Kyle and Nichole headed home after breakfast and the rest of us played with their new toys, played a few rounds of Candy Land and watched "the fuzzy Grinch" or How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It was a nice and quiet day!
