In an attempt to get the kiddies to branch out and try pizza with more than just cheese, we had pizza night and made our own. They both loved picking toppings (they HAD to choose 1 meat and 1 other topping) and making the pizzas but when it came down to actually eating them they weren't too happy. Neither one liked the sauce or crust. I guess Tony's (frozen cheapies) is tops in their world!! And its easier on the budget too.....can't go wrong with dinner for 2 for a $1!
On another food note.....it has been a big couple weeks around here. Both tried and liked sandwiches (turkey and cheese only) from Subway. They've had tacos (meat and cheese w/flour tortillas).....Eli loves them, Katelynn is still on the fence. We made "special hot dogs" (dogs wrapped in tortillas w/ketchup) and they both like those. They've also tried scrambled eggs, mushrooms and we tricked them into trying turkey bacon.....surprise they like that nasty stuff. And the biggest food moment in the last couple weeks.....they both LOVE ham. We made it for Easter and they requested it for the following 4 dinners. They're growing up, I think:)
