Weekend Highlights

Friday was pretty uneventful. We (Josh) put together the table and chairs....we love them!

 

Saturday we mostly errands and yard work. I took a truck full of dirt to my Mom's and helped her spread it in the alley. Josh sent me off with a "drive slow and don't hit bumps". Maybe he hasn't driven our roads?! It was a slow and nerve wracking drive over. We had my Mom up for a BBQ and got the kids T-Ball set out. They had a great time with it. The weather could have been nicer but they still had fun.

Sunday we took the kids down to Riverfront Park in search of bridges. They have been very into bridges so we decided to indulge them. They both liked them for the most part. Katelynn was pretty freaked out on the bigger ones going over the river. She couldn't get off those ones fast enough. We stopped at the big ol slide, looked at the ducks and then headed to Red Robin for lunch. They kids love to go there and are constantly asking for it but are absolutely terrified of the "Red Bird". They are constantly on the look out for him. Thankfully for us and the diners around us....he was not there. And Katelynn finally learned how to petal her trike:) She knows how its just a matter of her actually doing it.

And that brings us to Monday...after a lazy morning Josh headed out to play golf with my brother and I'm just waiting for the kids to wake up. I think we'll head over to my Mom's for the afternoon.
