We finally got over to Ellensburg last weekend and managed to pack all sorts of fun into 36 hours:)
First on the list was to stop and look at Mt. Rainier on Grandma and Papa's road. The kids are very into volcanos and were shocked to find we had some in WA. When we were first talking about it Eli was scared out of his mind that it was going to "re-rupt" and was going to stay in the car. After we talked more and told him how safe it was he decided he'd go ahead and get out for a look.
Christmas in April:) Better late than never, right?! The kiddos were spoiled rotten with all sorts of gifts and candy. We have lots of thank yous to work on this week!!
Calling all cows:) We weren't there long before we headed down to the barn to see all the new baby cows. There are 3....Sara, Patty and T-Bone (T for short). They look like triplets and its almost impossible to tell them apart. E&K were so excited to be on the other side of the fence this time and were so very brave!! The first picture is of everyone calling the cows up from the field....too bad kids don't listen as well as cows do!!

"Dam Beavers"....of course that is what the kids called them immediately after talking about "beaver dams"!! I tried to explain the difference but decided too much talk on the subject would not be a good idea!! There is a creek that runs along the road and the beavers have been very very busy. The creek is like a lake in certain spots, it was crazy to see what they've done.
Nighty Night Kiddos. We left after dinner on Saturday unsure what that would mean for us once the 3 hour drive was over. Well it went great, they slept the entire way and then we carried them up to bed and that was it. They haven't slept that good or long in months. It was nice and quiet end to our trip.
