First Fishing Trip

We headed to the lake on Sunday for the first fishing trip of the season. The weather could have been nicer but we still had a good time, even though we didn't catch any fish. I think the highlight of the day for the kids was throwing pine cones into the lake. Maybe that had something to do with not catching any fish?! We fished a little, played at the playground a little, had lunch, and repeat before calling it a day and heading home. They were so tired they (and we) crashed for couch naps when we got home. I only made it 30mins or so and then had to wait another 3hrs for the rest of my family to wake up!!
